“House Number 25”

Mother!

After chopping off the heads of Maya (illusion),

The agony, mischief and the other things.

I call upon your gibbous moon

“Please leave my dragon head alone for

His sins and treachery in the first house”.

It’s time to retrograde.

I know,

On the full moon nights,

My reds and whites will be in tandem.

The galaxies will collapse at my feet

Shiva will return to my arms

And, I will be complete.

Notes: In Vedic astrology, when Rahu unhesitatingly assaults the Sun (and KETU assaults the Moon) and is said to swallow it, and to cause the “Eclipse”.
