Issue 4: Movement
In the natural world, nothing is ever at rest. Microbial life churns beneath our feet, steadily building ecosystems resilient enough to sustain us. Fields rotate through regenerative cycles of rice, buckwheat, millet, and legumes. Millions of people move, willingly or not, in response to the consequences of ecological change. We have much to learn from these processes in today’s cultural and political climate, which condemns movement of all kinds.
For Mister Magazine Issue 4: Movement, we invite you to tell stories of motion and migration, action and agitation, disturbance and dance–an exploration of what is possible when we let ourselves be moved.
Below, we’ve plotted the points on the map that led us to Issue 4. Wander for a while, and submit.
